Who We Are
We are a group of Silat students in the Portland OR/Vancouver WA area who study Pencak Silat Serak with Guru Steve Plinck. We don't have a name, an organization, or anything of the sort. Just Silat classes. Guru Plinck teaches advanced students by arrangement. Ongoing classes are taught by Narin Latthitham. Todd Ellner and Tiel Jackson teach beginners on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Stevan Plinck is a highly skilled and experienced Silat instructor, recognized as one of the most senior practitioners of Serak in the Americas. He studied with several teachers including about twenty years with Pendekar Paul de Thouars. Steve gives seminars regularly in the United States and Europe. A former Green Beret, Guru Plinck lives with his family in Southwest Washington State. |
